Correct Answer :

Option D

38.18%

38.18%

Solution :

The correct option is 38.18%.

Step 1: Analyze the Data from the Bar Graph and Table

From the given bar graph, the total number of employees (Graduate + Post Graduate) for companies C and D are:

Bar Graph

Total employees in Company C = 225
Total employees in Company D = 200

From the given table, the difference between Graduate and Post Graduate employees (Graduate - Post Graduate) are:

Difference in Company C = 36
Difference in Company D = 90

Step 2: Calculate Graduate and Post Graduate Employees in Company C

Let GC be the number of Graduate employees and PC be the number of Post Graduate employees in Company C.

GC+PC=225

GCPC=36

Adding these two equations:

2GC=261GC=130.5

Subtracting the second equation from the first equation:

2PC=189PC=94.5

Step 3: Calculate Post Graduate Employees in Company D

For Company D:

GD+PD=200

GDPD=90

Subtracting the second equation from the first equation:

2PD=110PD=55

Step 4: Find Male Post Graduate Employees in Company C

Number of females who are graduated in C = 50
Number of males who are graduated in C = Total graduates in C - Female graduates in C:

130.550=80.5

Given that the number of males who are graduated is 20 more than females who are post graduated:

Male Graduate in C=Female Post Graduate in C+20

80.5=Female Post Graduate in C+20

Female Post Graduate in C=60.5

Now, calculate males who are post graduated in C:

Male Post Graduate in C=PCFemale Post Graduate in C

Male Post Graduate in C=94.560.5=34

Step 5: Calculate Required Percentage

We need to find how much percentage males who are post graduated in C (34) are less than post graduated employees in D (55):

Difference=5534=21

Percentage Less=(2155)×100=38.1818%38.18%
