Solution :

Let us analyze the given information step-by-step to find the number of watches sold by each shop.

Step 1: Calculate watches for Shop B
We are given that the number of analog watches sold by B is 30, which is 25% less than the number of digital watches sold by B.
Let the number of digital watches sold by B be x.
Since the number of analog watches sold by B is 25% less than x:
30=x-0.25x=0.75x
x=300.75=40
So, the number of digital watches sold by Shop B is 40.

Step 2: Calculate watches for Shop A
The ratio of the number of analog watches sold by shop A to the number of digital watches sold by B is 5 : 4.
Let the number of analog watches sold by A be Aanalog.
Aanalog40=54
Aanalog=50
The number of digital watches sold by A is 25% less than that of B.
Let the number of digital watches sold by A be Adigital.
Adigital=40-(0.25×40)=40-10=30

Step 3: Calculate watches for Shop C
The total number of digital watches sold by all three shops is 140.
Adigital+Bdigital+Cdigital=140
30+40+Cdigital=140
70+Cdigital=140
Cdigital=70
The number of digital watches sold by C is 40% more than the number of analog watches sold by C.
Let the number of analog watches sold by C be Canalog.
Cdigital=Canalog+0.40×Canalog=1.40×Canalog
70=1.40×Canalog
Canalog=701.40=50

Step 4: Find the required percentage
We need to find what percentage of the analog watches sold by A and C together is the number of digital watches sold by C.
First, find the sum of analog watches sold by A and C:
Aanalog+Canalog=50+50=100
Now, calculate the percentage:
Percentage=CdigitalAanalog+Canalog×100
Percentage=70100×100=70%

Therefore, the number of digital watches sold by C is 70% of the analog watches sold by A and C together. The correct option is 70%.
