Company A:
Total cars = 15% of 2400 = 360
Petrol cars = 20% of 1500 = 300
Diesel cars = 360 − 300 = 60

Petrol cars = 12% of 1500 = 180
Diesel cars = 240 − 180 = 60
Total diesel cars manufactured by A and C together = 60 + 60 = 120
Step 2: Find the total cars manufactured by Company F
Company F = 17.5% of 2400 = 420
Step 3: Find the required ratio
Required Ratio = 120 : 420
