Correct Answer :

Option D

126

Solution :

The correct option is 126.

Step 1: Understand the data given in the bar graph for Company D.

From the given bar graph, we can see the following data for Company D:

• Number of employees working from Office in Company D = 210

• Percentage of employees working from Home out of total employees in Company D = 50%

Step 2: Calculate the total number of employees in Company D.

Since 50% of the total employees in Company D work from Home, the remaining percentage working from Office is:

100%-50%=50%

Therefore, 50% of the total employees in Company D is equal to 210.

Total employees in Company D = 21050×100=420

Step 3: Calculate the total number of employees in Company X.

It is given that the number of employees working in Company X is 40% more than that in Company D.

Total employees in Company X = 420×(1+40100)=420×1.4=588

Step 4: Find the difference between the number of employees working from Home and Office in Company X.

The ratio of employees working from Home to that from Office in Company X is given as 11 : 17.

Total ratio units = 11+17=28 units

Value of 1 ratio unit = 58828=21

Difference in ratio units between Office and Home employees = 17-11=6 units

Therefore, the required difference = 6×21=126.
