Correct Answer :

Option A

20 Rs

Solution :

The correct option is 20 Rs.

Step 1: Extract data for Park D from the given line graph and table.

From the line graph, the total number of people (male + female) who visited Park D is equal to 96.

From the table, the fraction of males out of the total people who visited Park D is:

Fraction of males for Park D = 3/4

Step 2: Calculate the number of males and females who visited Park D.

Number of males = Total people × Fraction of males

Number of males = 96 × 3/4 = 72

Number of females = Total people - Number of males

Number of females = 96 - 72 = 24

Step 3: Set up the equation for ticket prices and revenue.

Let the ticket price for a male be x Rs.

Since there is a 20% discount on each ticket for females compared to males:

Ticket price for a female = x-0.20x=0.80x Rs.

The total revenue received by Park D from all visitors is Rs 2280.

Total Revenue = (Number of males × Male ticket price) + (Number of females × Female ticket price)

2280=72x+24(0.80x)

2280=72x+19.2x

2280=91.2x

x=228091.2=25 Rs.

Step 4: Find the ticket price for each female.

Ticket price for female = 0.8025=20 Rs.

Therefore, the price of each ticket for a female is 20 Rs.
