Correct Answer :

Option C

52%

Solution :

The correct answer is 52%.

Step 1: Find the number of Smart TVs sold by Branch P.
From the table data, total appliances sold by Branch P = 400
Percentage of Smart TVs sold = 25%

Smart TVs (Branch P)=400×25100=100

Step 2: Find the number of Refrigerators sold by Branch R.
Total appliances sold by Branch R = 360
Percentage of Smart TVs sold = 30%

Smart TVs (Branch R)=360×30100=108

The remaining appliances (Refrigerators + Air Conditioners) sold by Branch R:
360-108=252

Let R be the number of Refrigerators sold and A be the number of Air Conditioners sold by Branch R.
We have:
R+A=252
R-A=52

Adding the two equations together:

2R=252+52=304

R=3042=152

So, the number of Refrigerators sold by Branch R is 152.

Step 3: Calculate the percentage by which Refrigerators sold by Branch R is higher than Smart TVs sold by Branch P.
Refrigerators sold by Branch R = 152
Smart TVs sold by Branch P = 100

Difference = 152-100=52

Required Percentage =

152-100100×100%=52100×100%=52%

Therefore, the total quantity of Refrigerators sold by Branch R is 52% higher than the total count of Smart TVs sold by Branch P.
